Products to Add to Your Wedding Registry in Spring 2024

In our experience most couples stay away from adding seasonal items to their wedding registries. The conventional wisdom being that non-seasonal items are more easily found and purchased by guests year-round. While this is true, we think adding some seasonal items is a great way for couples to add character and personality to their registries. It will also give them a jump on enjoying their first of various seasons together as a married couple without having to buy a lot of extra items immediately following their wedding.

Seasonal product availability is always best in the season you are in or will soon be entering. The best deals on seasonal products are available toward the end of a particular season or beginning of the next. If you decide to add seasonal items to your registry, pay close attention to product availability as these items tend to go out of stock quickly and sometimes stay out of stock indefinitely.

In this post, we share some of our favorite seasonal (and non-seasonal) gift picks for spring 2024. We love spring, especially in the Pacific Northwest where in it we begin making our way out of our long rainy season. Spring is also traditionally the kickoff to the wedding season that stretches well into fall. We think couples with spring weddings can confidently add outdoor and recreation-oriented items to their registries with summer right around the corner. We also think it’s a great opportunity to add a few additional personal care and organizational products.

Our Wedding Registry Product Picks for Spring 2024

General Spring Decor

We’ll be upfront, most people who step into our home in spring probably don’t have any clue that we put out “spring decor.” We approach spring decor with a very light touch. Less is more you might say. As we do with most of our home decor, in spring, we usually opt for more neutral colors over pastels or anything too bright. Here are a few of our favorite pieces this season:

Spring Cleaning and Organizational Finds

We know what some of you may thinking…spring cleaning items on a wedding registry? Bear with us. We think these are great picks and offer tons of utility. After all, as we discuss in our wedding registry guide, receiving a huge influx of gift items has a way of exposing all the organizational shortcomings in your home and, to be frank, can make your home feel crazy. Cleaning products and organizational aids will help you get settled quicker.

  • We like this new adjustable back-of-door organizer from IKEA. And IKEA’s SAMLA line of clear storage boxes (available in multiple sizes) are indispensable in our household.
  • Natural cleaning product subscriptions from Grove Collaborative make for a unique and useful gift.
  • We love our Bissel carpet and upholstery cleaner.
  • Nesting pans and skillets inside one another is terrible for your cookware. YouCopia’s adjustable cookware racks are a simple, elegant solution and, in our experience, work perfectly.
  • And it’s never too soon to start a collection of quality food storage containers. Rubbermaid’s brilliance line of storage containers look and perform great.

Natural Skincare Products

Spring is a great time for a natural skincare reset and we love everything from Primally Pure. They also have a great collection of resources, guides, and quizzes for those who are new to holistic skincare. Our favorite products include their cleansing oil for normal skin, their clarifying serum, and their everything spray.

Exercise Equipment

In terms of our annual fitness arch, spring falls neatly between our New Year’s resolutions and summer fitness goals. We think exercise equipment is a worthwhile addition to a wedding registry year-round, but especially in spring. Consider adding:

Weekender Bag

When spring rolls around, we always seem to find ourselves taking short weekend trips to visit family and friends. A good weekender bag makes taking short trips much easier and relaxing.

  • We like Patagonia’s 40 liter Black Hole duffel bag for men and Longchamp’s 21-inch expandable travel bag for women.

We hope you enjoy our picks. If we missed anything spring-related you plan to add to your registry, let us know.

xoxo
